Cambridge United first-team coach Barry Corr has left the club by mutual agreement. Corr scored 19 goals in 41 games for the U's before returning to the club as a development coach in 2019.

What happened?

Corr stepped up to the first-team backroom staff two years later and has twice had spells as interim head coach.

As of our last update, Cambridge United stands at 3rd in England League Two, with 82 pts, 22W-16D-8L from 46 games, and a recent form of DWLDW.

Why it matters for Cambridge United

"I've been fortunate to work under three excellent head coaches, all of whom have informed and helped shape my ideas and understanding of the game," Corr said.

What comes next?

One of the head coaches he worked under was Mark Bonner, now the club's director of football. Bonner said: "Barry has been an excellent servant for 11 years, performing multiple roles both on and off the pitch and we thank him for his tireless effort."
