Heath is the side's second signing of the summer, joining striker Callum Stead. He was also named Everton Under-21's player of the season during their 2024-25 campaign.

Why did Cambridge United want Heath?

"We had to fend off strong competition for his signature, and we're really pleased he's chosen to join us," U's boss Neil Harris told the club website. "He's a young player with a huge amount of development ahead of him, and I look forward to helping him on his footballing journey."
